Description
The LiDAR Data you are about to download was acquired in 2005 and was used to generate the Outagamie County 2 foot interval contour lines and 2010 FEMA Digital Flood Information Rate Maps (DFIRMS). The data is as delivered from the vendor, with the exception of reducing the original tile size from 9 sections per tile to 1 section per tile and the creation of shapefiles to make the data more readily useable. The LiDAR Data represents a snapshot of the ground, vegetation and structure elevations during the fixed wing acquisition. The data available for download has been exported for each PLSS Section of Outagamie County. By downloading this content, you are assuming the risk of understanding and verifying the data for your use. There are 2 types of data, bare earth and pointcloud. The bare earth data are the LiDAR points used to create a topographical surface and generate the 2 foot contours. The pointcloud data is all the LiDAR points acquired during the flight.
