Brandt Shelter is the ideal spot for gatherings of up to 75 guests, offering a convenient and picturesque setting:

  • Amenities: Handicap accessible restrooms and a well-equipped kitchen with a serving window.
  • Kitchen Features: Refrigerator, oven/stove, counter, sink, and electrical outlets.
  • Outdoor Fun: Two small stationary grills, grass volleyball court, swing set, horseshoe pits, and concrete cornhole.
  • Scenic Location: Nestled in a wooded area with easy access to park trails.

Nearby Attractions:

  • A short walk to Roblee Shelter, Disc Golf Course, and Plamann Lake.

Hours of Operation: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Shelter reservations can be made 364 days in advance. All reservations are created through our online reservation system. Contact us if you are looking to make a half day reservation (for week days only).

We do not issue refunds under a 30-day notice.

Approved Caterers

Any catering that takes place at Plamann Park needs to be a part of our approved caterers list. Caterers can get added to our list at any time.

  • Catering does not include drop-off services.
  • Catering is defined as the food/beverage is being served, prepared, and transported by a licensed restaurant, caterer or other food service provider.
  • The food/beverages require setup and/or onsite service; such as beer trailers, servers, attendants, pig roasters, etc.

Park Rules and Ordinances

There is a caretaker on duty in the park at all times. They are there to enforce the park ordinances, and it is within their power to write citations for violations, please obey park rules.

Please make yourself and your group aware of the park rules and ordinances.

  • No domestic animals allowed.
  • No littering.
  • No fires except in designated receptacles and with approval of the Parks Director.
  • Speed limit is 15 MPH.
  • Park closes at 11:00 PM. Shelter hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
  • No driving or parking on grass areas.
  • Alcoholic beverages require a $5.00 permit, which will be issued by the park at the park office.
  • Amplified music, P.A. system, radio, TV, etc. are not allowed in the park, except devices with headphones, earbuds, etc.
  • If you are looking to have a dunk tank or bounce house, please call the park for information.
