Children's Farm
Discover Plamann Park Children's Farm
Established in 1989, the Children's Farm brings the charm of a farm setting to Outagamie County, allowing residents to experience Wisconsin's rich dairying heritage without having to leave the area. Although Wisconsin is known as the Dairy State, not everyone has access to farms or their animals. That's where our farm steps in, providing both fun and educational experiences.
What Makes Us Unique:
- Our farm features young animals like calves, kid goats, piglets, and lambs that you can see up close.
- Over 10,000 visitors, both children and adults, enjoy this free attraction each year.
Attractions:
- Meet and pet animals from outside their pens (please don't feed them!).
- Enjoy the bird trail, cow path, playground, and swing set—all with accessible paths.
- The Cow Path, shaped like a Holstein cow, was created by an Eagle Scout and is a park favorite.
Visit Us:
- Open Memorial Day to Labor Day, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Weather permitting)
- Animals are on loan from area farmers, returning in September happy and healthy.
Your Support Matters:
- Our farm thrives on donations, helping maintain the care and feeding of our animals.
- To sustain the farm, we need farmers willing to loan animals and donate feed, hay, or straw.
- Contributions of any size help us feed our animals, costing around $1,000 each season.
Get Involved:
- Visit our kiosk to see animal and donor information.
- If you can assist with animal loans or feed donations, contact our Farm Program Coordinator.
Your visits, donations, and support make it possible for our community to experience farm life up close. Thank you for being part of our cherished tradition!
