Who

Join the Eco-challenge!

School groups, scouts, corporate teams, and others can join the Eco-challenge, suited for sixth graders to adults. Youth and adult groups are not mixed.

Adults in youth groups supervise and encourage participation but don't provide solutions. Each challenge fits 15 to 20 people, so larger groups will be split into smaller teams.

Activities are led by trained Mosquito Hill staff or volunteers. Reservations are required. For the best experience, plan for at least two to four hours to complete the course.

What

Discover Teamwork in Nature's Way!

What do migrating monarchs, a spider’s web, and symbiosis teach us about teamwork, trust, communication, and problem-solving? Find out with the Eco-challenge!

The Eco-challenge is a group course at Mosquito Hill Nature Center. It’s an outdoor activity designed to develop personal skills and teamwork through a series of fun obstacles. Join us and learn to work together!

Why

Unleash Teamwork with the Eco-challenge!

The Eco-challenge teaches ecological concepts like migration and symbiosis while building cooperation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

The focus is on the team and environment, using action-based learning activities just inches off the ground.

Every group member's knowledge and ideas are essential, and full team participation is needed for success. Experience firsthand how solving ecological problems mirrors teamwork and cooperation in society.
