You can either fight technology or you can embrace it. Many people seek nature to disconnect from their electronics, but sometimes those devices can make your experience even more enjoyable. Have you ever heard a bird call and wondered what species it was? Looked at a flower and struggled to correctly identify it with your pocket field guide? In this workshop we’ll guide you through different smart phone applications that can actually help you connect more with nature. A smart phone and ability to download free apps is required. Don’t worry, we’ll help you if you aren’t very tech savvy! This workshop will begin indoors and then move outside for a short hike to try out the applications.
