Community Invited to Veterans Memorial Ceremony

The Fox Valley Veterans Council invites the public to attend a Veterans Memorial Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, outside the Outagamie Veteran’s Memorial Building.

This meaningful ceremony will serve as a silent homage processional centered on the unveiling of new plaques honoring those who gave their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. The event will include a brief introduction, followed by the reading of the names of the fallen.

During the ceremony, attendees will be invited to take part in a procession, offering a salute and/or placing a flower at the memorial as the names are read. Bagpipes will accompany the procession, and the ceremony will conclude with Taps and a rifle salute.

This powerful tribute is expected to last less than 45 minutes. Community members, families, and staff are encouraged to attend and join the Fox Valley Veterans Council in honoring and remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
