Outagamie County Parks Department announces the postponement of the Mosquito Hill Nature Center grand opening as our community responds to the severe flooding affecting residents across Outagamie and Waupaca counties.

“At this time, our priority is with the individuals, families, and communities facing the immediate impacts of this flooding” said Outagamie County Parks Director Justin Schumacher. “While we had looked forward to celebrating this important milestone with the public, we believe it is more important that our time, attention, and resources be directed toward supporting our neighbors during this difficult period.”

Outagamie County is committed to standing with those affected and doing our part to help where it is needed most. In times like these, it is essential that we come together, care for one another, and focus on the well-being of our communities.

We appreciate the public’s understanding and patience as we postpone this event. A new date for the Mosquito Hill Nature Center grand opening will be announced at a later time.

Our thoughts are with all those impacted by the flooding, as well as the emergency responders, local officials, volunteers, and community members working to assist recovery efforts.
