Outagamie County invites proclamation requests that celebrate our people and community
Outagamie County believes in a government that informs its residents and encourages active, positive participation. We recognize and grow talent, promote a respectful and inclusive environment, and tell our story through the voices and achievements of our residents. As part of that commitment, we invite you to share your culture and traditions, celebrations and achievements, and special causes through Outagamie County’s proclamations program.
What is a proclamation?
Proclamations are ceremonial documents issued by the Office of the County Executive. They honor or highlight:
- Special periods of observance (days, weeks, or months)
- Civic celebrations
- Community, regional, state, or national occasions
- Community actions that benefit residents
Note: These are ceremonial documents. Issuance is at the sole discretion of the County Executive and does not create an obligation or duty of the Office of the County Executive.
Who can request a proclamation?
- Residents, community groups, nonprofits, schools, and businesses
- County Board or County departments
- The County Executive may also issue a proclamation independently
Requests must have a clear connection to Outagamie County and address issues or programs of significance to our residents.
