Outagamie County is proud to celebrate the people, places, and traditions that make our community special.

In February 2025, Outagamie County announced its participation in the Emmy-nominated Uniquely Wisconsin series by Discover Mediaworks. After inviting residents to submit ideas, we received 15 heartfelt stories and selected three to bring to life. Over the summer, production took place across the county, and all three short-form episodes have aired. Explore them here:

As part of our participation:

• Three short-form docuseries videos (up to six minutes each) were produced.
• One of the three was selected for a four–five minute segment within a Discover Wisconsin Uniquely Wisconsin special episode/documentary, which aired once on the Discover Wisconsin Regional Television Network.

What is Uniquely Wisconsin?

Uniquely Wisconsin is a sub-series of Discover Wisconsin that showcases the heartwarming, humorous, and historical stories of Wisconsin communities—through lenses of economic development, community engagement, quality of life, and tourism. Past episodes across the state have featured the Wisconsin 9/11 Memorial in Washington County, efforts to preserve Hmong culture in Marathon County, and the transformation of a historic barn into a music studio in Monroe County.
