Passport Information
The following is information that has been compiled to assist you in the application process of applying and/or renewing a passport. Application forms are available online at travel.state.gov or in the Clerk of Courts office. Please arrive at the Clerk of Courts office no later than 4PM for passports. Note, we do not take photographs.
Routine Service
Customers will receive passports within 6–8 weeks from the date of application.
Expedited Service
Customers wishing to receive passports within 6–8 weeks may request expedited service. Add $60 per application. Expedite fee does not include overnight delivery.
First Time Applicant
Items Needed to Process a Passport
- A certified copy of birth certificate or naturalization papers. An old passport will also suffice.
*A child under the age of 16 who had a previous passport must submit both passport & certified birth certificates
- Driver’s License (Child under age 18 a parent’s driver’s license will be used)
- 1 – 2” x 2” passport photo (Walgreens, CVS, Walmart or any photographer)
- Check or money order payable to US DEPARTMENT OF STATE
- Processing fee to Clerk of Courts for $35 (can be cash or check)
Password Renewal
Customer submits application to passport agency directly.
You may use this form if your previous passport:
- Was issued when you were 16 or older
- Was issued in the last 15 years
- Is not damaged
- Your name is the same
- Is submitted with your application

All applicants must appear in person.
