US 10/WIS 441 closed due to storm damage in the Fox Valley
Bypass will be closed through rush hour
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces US 10 / WIS 441 is CLOSED in both directions in Outagamie and Winnebago counties due to multiple damaged vehicles leaking gasoline. Severe weather caused several crashes, resulting in extensive vehicle damage and gasoline spills. Crews are on scene cleaning the roadway and restoring safe travel conditions. Motorists should seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
Current Traffic Impacts:
• Northbound and Southbound US 10 / WIS 441 — Fully closed from I-41 to Oneida Street.
• WIS 441 remains open from Oneida Street to the north junction of I-41.
Closures are expected to continue through the evening rush hour and possibly longer.
Alternate Routes:
• I-41 southbound in Outagamie County: Can access southbound 441 but only to Oneida Street. Message boards recommend continuing south on I-41 to Oshkosh.
• I-41 in Winnebago County: Cannot access northbound WIS 441 or eastbound US 10 — continue north or south on I-41.
• Eastbound US 10: Divert at I-41 northbound or southbound.
• Drivers should expect major delays during the evening commute.
Other Highway Closures:
• WIS 47 closed from WIS 114 to WIS 441 / US 10.
• WIS 114 closed from I-41 to Oneida Street.
