Recommended Vaccination Schedules for Wisconsinites

In alignment with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, OCPH encourages health care providers across Outagamie County to use their best medical judgment and training, within their scope of practice, to recommend and administer immunizations based on professionally vetted schedules.

OCPH recommends providers refer to the following immunization schedules.

For those under the age of 19

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has been producing immunization schedules based on the recommendations of its Committee on Infectious Diseases (COID) since the 1930s. The recommendations are published in the Red Book.

For those 19 and older

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) was founded in 1947 and is one of the largest national medical organizations. The AAFP provides immunization schedules for adults based on age group and by certain medical conditions.

For those who are pregnant

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) was founded in 1951 and provides expert-reviewed practice guidelines for its members in the United States, Canada, and South America.

Immunization Clinic Information

Please call Outagamie County Public Health at (920) 832-5100 to schedule an appointment.

Immunizations are free to all children ages birth to 18 if eligible for the Vaccines for Children Immunization Program.

  • If you have no insurance or limited insurance coverage for immunizations or are on Medical Assistance (Badger Care), or are Native American/Alaskan, please call the number above.
  • If you have full insurance coverage for immunizations, please contact your primary care provider for these services.
  • Please bring your immunization record with you.
  • A parent/legal guardian must accompany children under 18 years of age.
  • If parent/legal guardian is unable to accompany, call (920) 832-5100 to make arrangements.
  • Translation services available.

A parent/legal guardian must give consent for a child to receive immunizations.

Wisconsin residents can view their immunization records online through the state-wide immunization registry.
