Who does WIC serve?

  • Women who are pregnant (at any point in the pregnancy), breastfeeding, or recently delivered a baby
  • Infants
  • Children - to age 5

What does WIC offer?

The WIC Program’s nutrition staff provides the following services, all at no cost:

  • Supplemental Food Benefits
  • Nutrition Assessment and Education
  • Breastfeeding Promotion, Education, and Support
  • Referrals to Health and Social services

What food does WIC provide?

  • Fruits and Vegetables (fresh, frozen or canned)
  • 100% Juice
  • Whole wheat/whole grain foods such as 100% whole wheat bread, brown rice, soft corn or whole wheat tortillas
  • Beans, peas, lentils (canned or dried)
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned fish (light tuna or pink salmon)
  • Milk, eggs and cheese
  • Infant cereals
  • Infant formula
  • Tofu
