The Outagamie County Sheriff's Office Correctional Division, in accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act, maintains a zero tolerance policy regarding sexual abuse and sexual harassment in the Outagamie County Jail. We will respond appropriately to every allegation of sexual misconduct. All allegations will be investigated and substantiated incidents will be subject to disciplinary process and the Wisconsin legal system if appropriate.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office annual report of data is collected and aggregated pursuant to the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Standard 115.88 – PREA Annual Report. The purpose of this report is to assess and improve the effectiveness of the agency’s sexual abuse prevention, detection, response policies, practices, and training.
