N - CTH KK to CTH CE - Town of Buchanan
Project Description
This project is for design, right-of-way, and reconstruction of this segment of County N. A 3-lane urbanized pavement section is planned as well as expanding the existing Emons/Buchanan Rd roundabout in order to improve capacity. Federal funding has been awarded through the STP-Urban program.
Project Status
Utility relocations are nearing completion. Roadway reconstruction is scheduled to begin in late April or early May and will continue throughout the summer. The Emons/Buchanan Road roundabout will remain open until early June and will then be closed for reconstruction. Roadway reconstruction is scheduled to be completed by early September.
Traffic Impacts
County N is scheduled to close to traffic in late April or early May to allow for the initial phase of roadway reconstruction. Local access will be maintained to all properties along the project. The Emons/Buchanan Road roundabout will remain open during the initial phase but will eventually be closed for reconstruction. A detour will be posted during the road closure and will utilize County KK, STH 55, and County CE.
